FOOTNOTES: *1 The front in question is the frontline in the ongoing war between Urbia City (skyline in the background) and Finnonia (the besieging army). This conflict is the usual background to the stories of Antigea I made at the time. Quite simply it is Finnonia trying to conquer Urbia City and thus dominating all of Antigea. In this story, the balance of power has shifted heavily in favor of Finnonia as they are now able to besiege the city itself. In modern day Antigea, Finnonia has long been defeated by Urbia and effectively ceized to exist, while Urbia was later destroyed by the Cybent Sapiens. Earlier in canon history however there raged a centuries long conflict between the two states. Finnonia was led by the Finnonian kings who are Finnie's ancestors. These conflicting histories arise because this particular comic is now 15 years old, and in that time I have redesigned a lot of Antigea, its characters and its history. Still some elements persist. *2 General Crack is one of Finnonia's twin generals: Crack and Crock, the gator brothers. They are probably going to get a small roll in the upcoming Finnie comic. They'll be on Finnie's team, but with redesigned appearances, roles and perhaps also names. *3 Finnie is talking about the recent aquisition of a large cash of spazi war supplies. This is not seen in this comic and only referenced to in this comment by Finnie. It is however an important plot device in the current story. The spazis are ofcourse comic Antigean counterparts to the nazis. Like in our world, they where a powerful military power in the recent past but have since been defeated. With this cash of war supplies, Finnonia's army has effectively doubled it's power and this is why they where able to almost completely defeat Urbia's army and besiege the city.
